Examec has introduced a management system according to ISO13485 as a consequence of a long-term agreement with a large Swedish company in the field of medical technology.
“Production takes place according to rigorous quality routines based on a Device Master Record, where each machine has a unique Device History Record in which each process is documented and controlled,” says CEO Mats Ohlsson. “The machine, which weighs almost 20 tons on delivery from us, contains advanced parts made with extremely high precision by Examec, including in tungsten and lead.”
“Our intimate collaboration with research facilities such as CERN, ESS and Max IV has laid the foundation for the level of advanced manufacturing that the company now represents,” Mats concludes.
Examec specialises in high precision components and advanced machine engineering in smaller series. Their strength lies in complicated assembly and manufacture of parts with the highest precision, preferably larger details.
The customers are major industrial companies in areas such as medical technology, research and packaging.
