Manufacturers are increasingly interested in composite technology, especially since it often means stronger designs than with e. g. traditional steel – and at the same time is a much lighter alternative.
Examec’s assignment for the wellknown and spectacular sports car Koenigsegg is a good example: four different parts of the exclusive chassi, that need precision machining in carbon fibre.
Carbon fibre machining requires highly skilled competence as well as special machinery. Without boasting we know our capability in carbon fibre machining. We mill high precision up to X=8000 mm and do high precision turning up to Ø 920 x 3200 mm.
