Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how we at Examec collect, use and protect personal data.

We collect personal data when you buy our products or during other interactions, including:

  • Name
  • Contact information such as address, phone number and email address
  • Birth date or personal identity number

This information will be used for:

  • handling of orders or administration of business
  • sending general or personalized product- or other information via email, sms, mail or social media
  • to fulfill business obligations according to the law, including product safety, official decisions, stock market rules, accountancy or tax law.’

We will not gather more information than necessary to provide our products and touphold demands by Swedish law.

How long do we keep the collected data?

Data about your purchase will be stored as long as you don’t tell us otherwise since we want to supply you with information about updates, spare parts or accessories. Our products have a very long lifespan. Nevertheless, if you still want your historical account to be erased, just send an email with this request to info@examec.com.

Data that we use for sending information, newsletters etc via mail or email will be kept until you chose to end your subscription.

No third party will have or get access to your personal data as long as this is not requested by law. We have procedures in place to ensure that your personal data will be handled in a safe and secure way and in line with current legislation.

The Examec website uses “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Examec pages, or register with the Examec site or services, a cookie helps Examec to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. When you return to the same Examec website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Examec features that you customized.
