As part of a consortium with Fagerström Industrikonsult and RFR Solutions, Examec contributed to the delivery of an advanced cleaning machine for the mirror segments of the enormous Ø38-meter reflector at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), located in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile.
The machine has been specially developed to handle the telescope’s delicate mirror surfaces, requiring both precision and robust technology under extreme environmental conditions.
Through this project, Examec strengthens its position as a reliable partner for innovative, custom solutions across both industrial and scientific equipment.
