Quality in every detail

Examec specializes in advanced machine building in small series. We typically build machines with the highest requirements for reliability, where malfunctions or failures could lead to serious consequences. These may include lost production, compromised food safety, or incorrect scientific data. We take end-to-end responsibility throughout the entire process, supported by an organization with broad expertise and extensive experience.

Machining

A continuously updated machine park with advanced, high-quality machinery – and most importantly, well-trained, motivated personnel with many years of engineering experience - ensures accurate results. We have millers with up to 5 axes as well as machines combining lathe and miller. We specialise in manufacturing larger components with high precision. Our machine park includes lathes, millers, surface grinders, and more. The size of our workpieces can vary greatly. We mill up to 8000 × 1500 × 1800 mm with very high precision and turning 3000 × 850 mm. We handle components weighing up to 15 tons and mounted constructions up to 25 tons.

Assembly

A myriad of parts and components are assembled together with electrical and automation systems into a fully functional unit. Examples include temperature-compensated creasing machines for large printing lines, complete cooling systems, and scientific instruments for scanning drill cores. Start-up and final testing are often carried out using simulators and load rigs. Over the years, our skilled employees have completed hundreds of machines with precise results. All equipment assembled and delivered by us undergoes thorough testing, complete with test protocols and other documentation.

Industrial painting

We apply wet coatings using curing lacquers, as well as water- and solvent-based products, in accordance with our customers’ specifications. Our processes are designed to achieve a high degree of precision and uniformity, with pretreatment, coating, and subsequent curing carried out according to the paint suppliers’ specifications. Necessary measures are taken to ensure both the products and personnel maintain a high level of cleanliness in critical stages, where foreign particles could otherwise negatively affect the process. We also offer inspection of coating gloss, adhesion, and film thickness.

Machine park

We strive to keep our machine park continuously updated with advanced, high-quality machinery. With our equipment, we consider ourselves a complete supplier in precision machining. All machines are modern and receive regular updates and maintenance.

On the milling side, we work with everything from traditional 3-axis machines to highly advanced 5-axis milling machines.
On the turning side, we have both conventional lathes and machines that combine turning and milling, so-called Integrex machines.

A central function for verifying that we meet specified requirements is our measurement lab. Here, we have access to a wide range of calibrated instruments, from simple manual tools to highly advanced equipment. Our Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machine allows measurements within a range of 1000 × 800 × 800 mm. We also have a measuring arm, surface roughness tester, coating thickness gauge, dynamometer, electronic scale up to 15 tons, temperature meters, pressure gauges, and more.
