The state-owned Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) has for over 50 years helped space agencies, companies, other commercial actors and research institutes gain access to space.
SSC designs, develops and tests various types of space systems, rocket systems, subsystems and experimental equipment for research, in space or near-space environment. Their products and services enable successful space projects in telecommunications, security, meteorology, positioning, scientific research, earth observation and other applications.
The company also has one of the world’s largest global networks of ground stations for satellite communications. Within SCC’s network, there is also the Esrange space base in northern Sweden, where it has the ambition to be the first to launch European satellites, and that already this year.
Examec’s role will be to manufacture the parts that make up the rocket body itself.
